Congrats to Equestria Daily on 50 million pageviews! I know I'm uploading this about 500,000 views early, but I want it to be timely. For those who don't know, that's (from left to right) Phoe, Sethisto and Cereal Velocity. And Trixie.

This is a sincere thank you to Seth, Cereal and Phoe, as well as Tek and all the other wonderful people who work tirelessly to bring us the best blog from any fandom. Without you guys, we probably wouldn't have made it through the summer, let alone increase in numbers. So, this is me thanking you all in the only way I know how.

I wanted to fit Tek in but I couldn't find a picture of his pony. Sorry, Tek!

I tried some new stuff with this (I say that with just about everything, don't I?) and I have mixed feelings about it. Most importantly, I know what I did wrong and how to correct it for the look I want next time. I also know not to do detailed rocky surfaces when I'm trying to get a piece out in a timely manner. So, half-assed the rock. I think we all know the real star of this is Trixie's cape, anyways.

This is the painting technique I'll be working on during the livestream this Saturday. Wink wink nudge nudge.

Oh, I wouldn't say it's THE 50mil drawing. I just drew this as a sort of "thank you." There was no requesting from either side. I simply saw the counter ticking close to 50 and said to myself, "and now you will draw something epic." So, mission accomplished I guess?
