Part 4! Oh, referrential humor, how I love you. For anyone who can't quite seem to place them, here they are:
Applejack is Full Metal Jacket. Full Applejacket?
Rarity and anonymous mares are Mulan.
Fluttershy is Forrest Gump.
Rainbow Dash is Stripes

Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle aren't a reference to anything, as far as I know.

This will be the last one for at least a week. School starts next Monday for me and I'm finally taking classes for my major (that would be linguistics, by the way).

I tried something new with this strip. Instead of tracing over a sketch, I decided to just clean up the initial sketch and roll with it. There were some things I didn't think I could duplicate in a second pass. I'm much more satisfied with this style. Also, saves time.

On another note, yes, I do know that this isn't how the military works at all. I spent a year getting to know it (AFROTC Cadet, so I don't know it as well as someone who actually went through Basic, like my brother just did). I'd still be in, but I was hit with a medical disqualification that'll be relevant for the exact amount of time I'll be in college. So, it sucks tremendously that I won't be able to commission with my friends, but with a linguistics degree and a year of "training" under my belt, I'm hoping to be competetive for OTS. But enough about me. Let's talk about ponies.

Wish I could've gotten the Oath of Office right. We had to memorize it. It bugs me every time I look down in that corner, but I just tell myself that's how they do it in Equestria. Y'know, like throwing knives and shooting guns with hooves.

Hasbro owns the ponies. Enjoy!
